YLA offers an array of resins optimized for RTM, VARTM, and wet winding. Resins are available for most applications. YLA RTM resins are qualified for applications that operate from cryogenic to over 600° F. Several resin types are available ranging from 350° F curing epoxy, one and two component cyanate esters, high temperature cyanate esters, and bimaleimide.

YLA also offers a unique line of tackified fabrics and reinforcements. Nearly any prepreggable resin can be utilized with a wide array of broadgoods to produce a very low resin content tackified reinforcement that can be assembled into a preform suitable for RTM, VARTM, RFI, or SCRIMP processing. Resin contents as low as 6% can be achieved. The tackifier resin can be placed on the reinforcement as a thin resin layer on one side or in a distributed geometrical pattern (e.g. diamond or grid patterns) to maximize coverage and tack with minimum resin addition to the preform.
