The YLA Quality system was designed to ensure that products meet the highest level of quality throughout the entire product life -- from delivery to certification schedules as well as any modifications after the product is in production.
Customer satisfaction is YLA’s number one priority—whether developing products for basic recreational equipment or complex satellite and aerospace programs. The YLA Quality System has been audited/approved by all major aerospace primes and sub-contractors and has received successful ISO 9001 audits with EU contractors and is ISO 9001 compliant (Cert 6/07).
YLA maintains its rigorous Quality programs with a full spectrum of product testing, ranging from physical and chemical tests for resins, fibers and prepegs, to mechanical testing of laminates from cryogenic to elevated temperatures. Highly accurate physical testing of resin content, fiber/fabric areal weight, volatile content, flow track/drape, resin/fiber density, viscosity, conductivity, and others are routinely performed. YLA also supports a full range of analytical and mechanical testing of high strength and modulus composite laminates.

A.Chris Breller, Quality Assurance Manager |

Allan "Chris" Breller joined YLA as the Quality Manager in August 2006.
Chris brings extensive manufacturing and quality assurance experience
from the aerospace and adhesives industries to YLA. Prior to YLA, he
held prior positions as the Supervisor of Quality Engineering for Henkel
(formerly Loctite) Aerospace, as the Operations Manager (which included
Manufacturing, Marketing, Environmental Affairs, Safety, and Human
Resources) for a small specialty manufacturer of epoxy and urethane
adhesives and as the Superintendent of Chemical Processes for Hughes,
Space and Communications. Chris is in the process of completing his
Master of Science in Quality Assurance from California State University,
Dominguez Hills. He has a Master's in Business Administration from
National University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
from Villanova University. He is a Senior Member of the American
Society for Quality, is a Certified Quality Engineer and is an ISO 9001
/ AS9100 / ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 auditor.
