YLA offers a variety of film adhesives tailored for several application areas. YLA precision film casting technology provides adhesives that range from below 0.002" thickness [0.015 pounds per square foot (psf), 75 grams per square meter (gsm)] to over 0.010" thickness [0.075 pounds per square foot (psf), 375 grams per square meter (gsm)]. Adhesives can be supplied unsupported or with a selection of lightweight supports ranging from polyester mats to high temperature quartz fabric.

YLA film adhesives are qualified for applications that operate from cryogenic to over 600°F. Several resin bases are available ranging from low temperature curing epoxy and cyanate esters to 350° F curing cyanate esters, and high temperature cyanate ester, bismaleimide, and polyimide. A unique feature of YLA cyanate ester film adhesives is their very high degree of compatibility with cyanate ester prepreg matrix resins. Markets served include satellite, aerospace and defense, commercial aircraft, industrial, consumer, and sporting applications.
