YLA materials are used in military aircraft structures, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), radomes, engines and radome applications. The company has capability and capacity to develop, test, qualify and manufacture advanced composite materials using the latest thermoset resin technology available. A full range of prepreg and adhesives are made from industry-standard-equivalent 250° and 350°F cure epoxies; high temperature BMI and polyimides. Toughened cyanate esters are developed to meet customer-specific performance requirements. YLA’s facilities maintain security clearances for highly classified Department of Defense projects.
