YLA, Inc. (now part of TenCate Advanced Composites) is a recognized global leader in the development and manufacture of high performance, lightweight composite materials for satellites, aerospace, commercial and military aircraft, defense, naval/marine, radomes, industrial, thermal management and recreational applications.

Founded in 1987, YLA is located in Benicia, California. YLA has a 50,000 square foot of facilities housing research, development and manufacturing for a full line of advanced composite materials. In March 2008, YLA, Inc was acquired by TenCate www.tencate.com. YLA, Inc now joins TenCate Advanced Composites still operating with YLA’s current site, equipment and products, but now part of a larger group focused on special materials for aerospace, industrial and space applications. The Benecia site has multiple production lines providing the flexibility to accommodate extremely large production requirements, as well as smaller developmental runs. This assures customers that they are receiving the most cost-effective production value possible.
